[ 'Outlandish' is certainly a word for it - though truthfully, sheer curiosity could also be enough to make Akechi ignore his normal sense of caution in this situation. Regardless, though he looks curious about the whole 'physical manifestation of dreams' thing, he doesn't seem especially surprised.
