That whole thing with the attempted murder seems to have made things a bit weird between Akira and Akechi. And while that's no surprise, Akechi is more hurt than he wants to admit that their conversation in Shido's palace seems to have meant nothing after all. It's not a feeling he's used to, and certainly not one that he likes.
